The Perks of Being A Juggler (Atomic Essay Day 13)

As a child I could colour, watch TV and eat my food all at the same time. I am one of those people that hates doing only one thing at a time. And this is not so much a productivity hack but a creativity hack.

Working on multiple projects allows me to find connections with each other in mysterious ways -

  • My love for food & obsession with Salt Fat Acid and Heat somehow connected with learning and made me think of the different components of learning

  • I find analogies for my work in the learning space in my crossfit practice

These interests also complement one another -

  • On a hectic day at work, I find my solace in cooking

  • My Instagram account is a baby made by my love for photography and cooking

There is no one thing that defines me fully and in a way, that takes away so much pressure! There is no one source of energy or joy or identity. On days when I am questioning why I am doing what I'm doing - I can be a chef or a photographer. On days when I have cooked something that doesn't taste good, I can find joy in a photograph I've clicked instead.

I am a designer, a researcher, a photographer, a chef, a crossfitter and a wannabe tablet weaver. I am all this and none of this.
