Welcome back to the the Learning Nerd’s Diary.
It’s been a world wind of a week - both at work and at home. Busy and hectic but the good kind!
Anatomy of a Learning Experience Designer
“What is it that you do exactly?” has been the theme of a lot of conversations I have had with people in the past few weeks. In one of theses conversations, someone very innocently said - “In our time a teacher only used to do everything!” - this stuck with me. So I wrote an article to better explain what I do.

Coolest Things I Learnt This Week
Finding your Tribe: Last week I attended the Community Conference and it got me thinking on what communities are and where they add value. I put together things I heard, stuff that got inspired from it, conversations that followed and my own reflections in an illustrated guide.
Here is the full article and a sneak peak just for you -
Passion is Contagious: This week at work was spent having a lot of conversations with people who were so much in love with their craft! I was part awestruck, part inspired and it made me want to do so much more. From work, to hobbies to a cause - passion of any kind is contagious and fuels me so much.
“The benefit of surrounding yourself with passionate people is that their passion rubs off on you through a process of osmosis.”
Sehgal Dhaaba: Sidika and I hosted a Diwali party over the weekend with a small group of friends. We dawned our fineries and cooked up a storm. From our grandmother’s special lobiya to decadent butter chicken to homemade besan ke ladoo - our kitchen has been smelling of food for the last 3 days now!
We only have blurry pictures from the night so that is testament to the amazing evening it was. It’s nice to reimagine traditions and make them your own. Plus it’s nicer when you have people to share it with :)

That's it for this week folks, see you around!
